Moritz Degener studied economics at the University of Bonn and at the Rheinischen Fachhochschule, Cologne, as well as law at the University of Cologne. He graduated with a degree in business management (Diplomkaufmann - FH) and a diploma in law. Moritz Degener is the author of a book on business segment overlappings of private equity and hedge funds and is also founding editor of the 'Kölner Schrift zum Wirtschaftsrecht'. At present he does his legal internship and prepares his dissertation on foundation law.
He worked for Thyssen Krupp in the USA, Bankhaus Sal. Oppenheim Jr. & Cie. in Cologne and at the European Parliament in Brussels. He then joined an international law firm in Dusseldorf.
Since 2008 Moritz Degener works for Industrie Consult with special focus on the automotive industry, logistics, trade and services. He takes care of the legal aspects in view of our mandates.
