After having graduated from Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelms Universität in Bonn with a degree in physics (minor subjects: mathematics and economics), Dr. Lenoir earned a doctorate in plasma physics. He then worked for Carl Freudenberg in Weinheim, first as group leader of the material testing department, later as head of process engineering. After that, he joined Brose, an automotive supplier headquartered in Coburg, as head of the company's plastics division, later on Vereinigte Kunststoffwerke, Staufen, as Managing Director and then EMS Chemie, Zurich and Domat/Ems Switzerland, as director-general.
Dr. Lenoir then left the industrial sector and got involved in the M&A business, first as Managing Director and Partner of Steiger Engineering AG, Zurich, later as Managing Director of ATCO Duesseldorf, a private equity company originating from a joint venture of the Dutch ABN-Amro Bank and Alpinvest. From here he joined NatWest Equity Partners in London. After a management buy-out this division became Bridgepoint Capital Ltd. Dr. Lenoir was one of Bridgepoint's co-founders and Managing Director of Deutsche Beteiligungsgesellschaft in Duesseldorf.
In 2006 Herr Dr. Lenoir became Partner of Industrie Consult and brings in the expertise he gained in various industries on a project-by-project basis.
